When I first started smoking flake tobacco, I would cube cut it.Then I tried cutting it into strips and lightly rubbing it out. In the last couple of weeks, I began using the stuff and fold method; It’s definitely faster and seems to smoke just as well as the other methods.

I've been experimenting with home made cube cuts by drying my flakes as is and then cutting perpendicularly across the grain. Great results will a lot of different blends.
Same, cube cut, let dry, gravity fill. However they take less space in the chamber, where a single folded flake would take 2/3 of one of my larger pipes, cube cut fills about half.
