Flake Question

I had tried SG FVF and found it disgusting, even after drying for an hour or so. Then one of the members here suggested 5 hours of drying time and BINGO! Night and day.

<p>Just found this thread - thought I was cheating by rubbing out my flake (kind of like that dirty habit you have and keep secret from others). Seems I'm not the only one who has trouble with folding and stuffing. Got to love these forums

Most flakes have a fair representation of Va in my experience. The flake burns more slowly intact or more or less that 'a way. Supposedly, rubbing the flake out will detract from the enjoyment of the Va due to rate of burn.

I sometimes cut them in half and stack em vertically in the proper bowl leaving plenty of air around them.

I've got some slices that I've had luck with by puncturing my filled bowl with a small available tool creating airways in the fill...and they burn out nicely.

I tear the flakes to size and use the fold and stuff method. It takes maybe two or three charring lights, but once you get the cherry, you're good to go.
I also pack a couple of pipes at night, so they're ready the next day.
