Hello to everyone glad to be a member. Been smoking and collecting pipes about 8 years now. My collection is a variety of different brands
Have several ferndown and just added Castello and Dunhill to my collection.

Hope to share and gain some helpful information .

Thanks for the response. I have tried both Castello and a Dunhill both smoke even.

The 5 Ferndowns I have just seem to smoke a bit better given they are a heavier pipe and all. I guess was something is not broken why change or try to fix it.

I think I have 3 or 4 Ferndowns and several more pipes Less Wood made for British tobacconist James Barber incorporating his trademark silver work. These later I pick up from a group buy on the old alt.smokerspipes newsgroup about 20 years ago. I’ve enjoyed them all. He makes a sturdy and cool smoking pipe.
