Great haul for sure thanks for sharing the picture. Do they keep all those fish or sell them at the market?

When I used to catch lots of stripers and bluefish we sold them to the wholesale market, we couldn't possibly consume that much, and the money helped pay for expenses.

Doc 20 somewhat years ago when we went snapper fisfing off the rigs, catching 600 to 800 lbs of fish we kept what we could eat and sold the rest for expenses as you said, but now I may be wrong but I don"t think a sport fisherman in La can sell his catch, their were 6 of them so by the time they were cleaned and giveaways, family and such I don"t think there was much left, one time we caught so many, the fish box was in the stern of the boat and we could not plane, several of us had to sit on the bow to get up on plane75 miles offshore is a long time to sit on the bow, my only thing was the skipper of the boat had to bring us pop with foam on top, rule was. No drinking until we started back home, the Gulf can be a dangerous place and you need to be sharp. The old cajun
