I have only smokes otc and bag blends. My wife bought me a tin of Blood Red Moon. My question is how long does this need to age before I can smoke it. I dont want to hurt her feeling and not smoke it on Valentines Day. I have read about how it gets better with age

All blends come ready to smoke. I've never heard of an aromatic getting "better" with age. Don't disappoint her... enjoy it!!!

I meant, ready as in they don't need to be aged. Not, ready as in dry enough. Sorry for the confusion.

I find packing aromatics very light to be successful with respect to moisture. I smoke a lot of aros during the winter since I'll smoke inside and not deal with the cold. Gravity fill with a little compressed pinch at the top to get going will help with anything that's wet I find.

The point of an aro is the flavoring, which is already present when released. It's not going to improve with age. It's for smoking when purchased. Enjoy.

She picked you a great aromatic. Smoke away and watch how she enjoys the aroma. Don't over pack the bowl. Always check the draw before smoking it. I hope you both enjoy it.
