After my brother first introduced me to Frog Morton I have been enamored with the blend. Problem was that I got into pipe smoking in March 2018, and when I went online to buy some Frog Morton I found that it was sold out everywhere. You know why.

Since then I have managed to acquire nearly 20 large tins of Frog Morton, and a tin of FMOTB, among other McClelland tins and bulk. But I had never tried Frog Morton Cellar until I loaded up one of my Bill Taylor Ashtons with a sample tonight.

Smooth, creamy, sweet, this is good stuff. There is definitely that whiskey topping that reminds me of the rum topping on Black Frigate. Am I tasting caramel as well? Regardless, I can see why this tobacco is still popular. I might seek some more out.

Sit back with a Pipe and have a read to the Story of McClelland. Passion to the Art and Blending is history and will never be duplicated. Once the word goto out Jan 2018...the hunt began calling Shops and watching On-Line drops. SP had a drop on 3/7/18 and it sold out, TP (Balkan Blue) on 3/2/18 and many other...After the End 50+ Tins and one heck of a CC bill.

There are so many Frog Morton's: Regular, On the Town, Across the Pond, On the Bayou, and even Cellar. Seems likeIy am forgetting one or two. Not sure why Mike and Mary named it Frog Morton's Cellar as it tastes nothing like the other blends.

Frog Morton Cellar is unforgettable for me. It's a wonderful tasting blend, coming with a whiskey barrel chunk of stave in the tin. Moreover, a Forums member sent me a whole unopened tall tin, along with nearly all of a package of Semois ... and a Ferndown bent billiard I almost missed in the packing that is a premier pipe in my stable, my topmost Brit wood. 'Cellar is one of those blends I never had time to jar.

Hey Austin.... when you swing by, remind me of this. I've got a little over half a tin that you are welcome to have. Somehow I ended up with 2 open tins and I don't smoke this one all that much.
