First Time Reaming Any Advice.

I thought it was pretty difficult to ruin a pipe with a reamer, I mean there really isn't much of an edge on the blades of my reamer atleast.

seriously. So the warning is don't let some idiot ream your pipes no matter how excited they are to ruin your pipes.

Further deep thought: I still can't conceive of really trashing a pipe with hand reamers. Perhaps the dolt used a SawzAll?? Pneumatic chisel? Acetylene torch?

I ream a lot of pipes doing restoration. Here is a pic of my tools. The best tamer is the all metal one and the little old timer knife for light shaving. The trick is to go slow and straight. Avoid the rim so as to not cut into the wood. The senior reamer is good, but you tend to miss cake at the bottom edges a more rounded bottom reamer is best to get all the way to the bottom View attachment 4115
