I went with the Peterson 302 FT "smooth" and a tin of Duhill London from PipesandCigars.com . Couldn't afford the Hearth and Home Sampler. Great transacation so far. Since this company is showing a lot of Petersons out of stock I called to confirm. "Heather" told me there was one 302 FT smooth left and she is keeping it on her desk until Monday when they ship...now that is service!

Thanks, actually after reading my post I'm not sure "real" is a good discription, I'm sure some folks take offense to that. I guess what I mean is my first pipe over 8 bucks.

Not a fan of "free" photo storage sites so if this doesnt work I will try something else.

The cutoff point for "real" pipes is 32 dollars and 14 cents. Of course there may be exceptions. i suppose yours is probably real.
Post a picture so we can comment on its reality. Without pictures it remains forever in the realm of imagination.
Congratulations in any case.

Congrats on the find of a "real" pipe. Although I consider any pipe a "real" pipe so long as its not a plastic bowl(used for blowing bubbles). Welcome to the forum.

Congrats on the first "real" pipe. I echo what Philip says.. no pics = imaginary pipe. And on posting pics, you can always load them here to your album, then use that picture. I've done most of mine that way instead of using PhotoBucket or something similar. From a mobile device, using snap bucket makes it a bit easier.
P&C rocks, so does smokingpipes.com. Haven't ordered from Cup O' Joes yet, but they're next ;-) Gotta spread the wealth.
