I finally managed to acquire someone else’s entire collection and today it arrived.

Ok not really… the first half arrived today and the rest will come next week… Nevertheless a 35lbs box arrived today and revealing all the newspaper-wrapped items was more exciting than all the Christmas days I’ve had put together! I especially enjoyed, all the little and no so little, bonus items that I didn’t know I was getting😊

Let’s check out the haul:

Best advice I ever received was to buy every single stem I can get my hands on! If you needed any convincing, just look at the next photo of my best smoking pipe, which once had an extremely damaged stem and of course there was a perfect match in this lot🤩

All pipes turned out to be either brand new unsmoked or not smoked more than a few times🤩
I immediately started renegotiating my 10% restorer’s tax with myself and I’m still struggling to keep just two pipes to myself and that’s just from the first half🤦‍♂️

Now I just need to identify this guy

Also what do I do with 60 boxes of snuff, that I know nothing about…😂
you snuff it into your nose. You know how to blow out a candle? Same thing but you breath in through the nose short and sharp instead of short and sharp out of the mouth. Personally not a fan of that snuff or brand. It is low in nicotine and also very clogging for me.

I think I’m gonna skip trying snuff. Btw me saying I didn’t know anything about snuff didn’t not mean I literally didn’t know anything about it 😂… still thank you for the replies 😊

That's poschl German snuff. The tap boxes are extremely user friendly. It has a humidicant in it and it'll never dry out. Its a mentholated snuff. What you do is tap some on to the back of your hand, pretty much cover one nostril with it, sniff like you're smelling a flower. I love snuff, those tap boxes are the easiest way to use it. Great bonus.

I mean I’ve tried it as a teenager and didn’t like it, but hey I might give the pipe topping a try, as long as it wasn’t a joke…
If you tried American scotch snuff, it's different than the European snuff. I've never tried the American style, but I've heard it's extremely hard to take. A tap box is extremely easy, a pinch of snuff took me about a year of practice before I could successfully do it like a pro. As for sprinkling it on a bowl, don't bother. I've tried it and really doesn't do anything. You'd be better off selling it to a snuff enjoyer or trading it. Personally I find gletcherprise to be a very easy snuff to take, has almost no nicotine, and you really don't use it much aa it does clog the nose if used excessively. It's a product of menthol flavoring that happens to most people. The easiest on the nose is plain unflavored
