First purchase of 2026?

I’m trying to resist the 15% off new pipes at SP, as I bought 3 new briars and 2 cobs last month. But seeing as last month was also last year, maybe I’ll buy just one more briar, maybe.

Well, I only held out for a few hours. Just bought myself another Neerup. This time a churchwarden.

Nothing yet, but after a full year of trying one of my buddies n I have finally scheduled a day trip up to Boswell's in ~2 weeks. So presumably that'll be the first purchase of the year.

Im still shopping, but plan to get a few oz of G&H bulk blends I've never had. Havent clicked it yet, because Id like to add a few tins of 1792 and FVF - which is out at the moment.

Well I got the trigger finger, incoming are:

2oz - Winchester
2oz - Yorktown
2oz - G&H Kendal Dark, vintage cut
2oz - Black Irish X - Rope

…never had any of these. Super excited.

Ordered 2 tins of Port Guardian to try and a Grapeshot from SP. I think it has nice grain

Nice looker there. I bought a grape shot right when they came out a year or so ago, love that pipe! One of these days, Ill get a cannon ball to go with it.

A cannonball is definitely on my to buy list too. The sandblasts that they produce are outstanding looking.
