Every now and then you try a tobacco you just know is going to suck. I've been putting off trying some of the Sutliff Chocolate Mousse I bought with the Sutliff Dark Chocolate I bought for two reasons. 1. Since my first bowl of that was a disappointment and 2. since its very wet. It's the wettest tobacco I've ever bought. One upside is the scent from the pounch while packing it is amazing. Hell, the scent around the pouch is amazing. It smells like Hershey bar! I let it dry for about 4 hours before I packed it. It still seemed no less dry than when I started so I was anticipating a steam storm in my mouth. I packed a bowl of Pembroke in another pipe so I would have it ready when this stuff tried to scorch my mouth. Given the wetness, it was a little hard to light but I soon had it going well. To my surprize, it was smooooth! I mean really smooth. No tongue bite whatsoever and no sense of the hotness of the tobacco. It's very monochromatic. Not much of a tobacco taste and it doesn't change much down the bowl. What is there is just a pleasant, dry smoke. While good on its own, I think with a little tinkering, this could be a great tobacco for blending.
