First Impression: St Bruno Ready Rubbed

Excellent review. I have had a few bags of RR in my humidor, but have been reticent to give it a try because of the floral description.

Fine review, nuanced and comprehensive. As fine as the tobacco is, were I smoking it and drinking that beer, in the end, and maybe in the beginning and middle as well, I'd be paying more attention to the drink.

The sirens of alcohol play an enchanting melody that humans can't ignore, even from the first few sips. Those were the days! Not really; not really at all. But from the standpoint of the buzz, oh yeah!

In the UK we have the advantage that St Bruno is available just about everywhere. I am rarely without an open pouch of it, ever reliable and a pleasant smoke.

It's a hard choice, but if I had Bubbles at my beck and call and an ever-reliable tobacco pervasively available, I don't know which would would win my undying affection.

I got it. Meet with the woman and go buy a pouch, smoke it up, meet with the woman, smoke it up. Rinse and repeat.

The problem with scrolling from the bottom up on the forum.. I read Bubbles and thought 'What's Michael Jackson's pet monkey got to do with anything'.

In addition to water, I grabbed a Founder's Double Chocolate Coffee Oatmeal Breakfast Stout, one of my current beer obsessions. A finely crafted 8% meal in a bottle.

If you will try Rasputin XXX stout. Absolutely the best stout I ever had, a fine compliment to Dogfish Head Double IPA.
