This is my first attempt at an egg. I rusticated it because the briar wasn't the best for a smooth.

That looks great! I get almost a Brandy/Egg hybrid vibe from the shape. Hey, just as a heads up, I'm still getting weird issues with your site. When I look at the available pipes page this is what comes up:

Oddly the finish looks more eggy to me then the over all shape.

It looks really awesome.
I love the shape and the stem looks just about perfect. It may not be the eggiest of eggs in the traditional sense but
I think this is one of those situations where if the carver calls it an egg it’s an egg.
