Hang in there. It is a learning event or should I say events. Like everyone says go slow.
One of my favorite pipes is an old Lorenzo Spifire. I could not read the name for a long time but finally saw it under a magnifying glass. Great pipe with more fills than fruit in a jell-o salad :lol:
Jbales, do not give up, just follow the advice given by the guys above and be patient.

Going slow is the key however you might also have a reaction like I do with virgina and va per blends. No matter how slow I go I get a reaction. Usually have a citrus soda or coke or even some tea with sugar in it to help

Today, I nuked a bowl's worth of the Navy Cut, packed it a la the Frank method and accompanied it with a cold glass of pepsi.
I had a much better experience. :wink:
