i like latakia too, i tried the arrowhead pipe club mixture which has latakia in it and i love it. i was told by someone on this forum no latakia but i dont see why

I don't get that, either. Even though my first smoke was a OTC Aro, I took to Latakia like a duck to water. I tell people smoke 'em all! Go hard or go home! If you don't like one type, try another, they're all special. And in a few years try the one you didn't like again, your taste buds may react differently than before.

right on. i am in the cincinnati area as well. i was living in dayton when i got my first pipes and The wharf was my go to place back then, so after coming back to Ohio after so many years me and the girl takes trips up therenow and again for tobacco fixes. definitely worth the 45 min drive if you ever get in the mood.

Your correct VaPers are Virginia Periques. And as to there being no more perique your tobacconist is misinformed thankfully. Its still out there to be smoked.
