I mean, the social media people didn’t exact magically receive their tins. They literally sent the tins ahead of release to the social media folks. it started hitting my feed almost 2 weeks ago.I don't do social media other than a few BBs, so I wouldn't have seen what you are referring to. My point is that the same tired old complaint of "over-hyped" is brought up any time there is a limited/special release which causes it to go fast. The "super hype" is not from the manufacturer. Obviously product announcements and advertising is part and parcel to anything sold. The manufacturer has no control of "Hype" from social media and word of mouth. The fact that it's there is good business, is it not? Again, limited/special release is what it is and we are all familiar with it. Why do so many people feel the need to beat the dead horse about it time and time again (rhetorical)? I understand the complaints about the website, however that too should be expected.
Can you provide an example of where C&D hyped up this release? I genuinely curious.I mean, the social media people didn’t exact magically receive their tins. They literally sent the tins ahead of release to the social media folks. it started hitting my feed almost 2 weeks ago.
Who do you think is spamming the site to buy it all up? It’s not the people walking into B&Ms.
I didn’t even want the blend and I knew everything there was about it quite a bit ago.
It's been a known thing since January 4th. Not like it was a surprise to anyone and it was available at multiple outlets.I mean, the social media people didn’t exact magically receive their tins. This is so wrong yet I love it. I’m looking forward to cracking one of my tins and contemplating the tears of the less fortunate. All of yall's cries of anguish, is just going to make me enjoy smoking mine all the better. The tears of the unfortunate, flavors the meals of the fortunate.
If everyone could have gotten some, I probably wouldn't like it as much.
I'm kidding, just kidding. :::sigh::: but don't stop complaining... keep on. I am... empathizing with you poorsapssouls. Bless yall's hearts.
Sorry you missed out. Message me and I’ll send you a tinLook, it doesn't take too many calls or computers to jam up a site if it is done all at once. Must have products like Firebird are only must have tobaccos for a reason I certainly don't understand. Having just experienced White Knight, a tobacco that is on its way out, I would prefer to have access to something like that than a one of fly by night tobacco such as Firebird. The hype isn't from C&D. The hype is from those on the forums who get all excited by the sound of slot machines in a casino. Tantrums and barking at the wind will get you very little. Boutique merchandise isn't really boutique. It's a gimmick. Maybe it smokes great. Maybe it won't. Maybe you would never have cared if it was readily available as was the case with the prior Cringle Flake, 2023. People bitched that they wouldn't have purchased it had they known it wouldn't have sold out. Well, it that was the case, then why did you buy it to begin with. FOMO. People were upset with C&D over that one because they thought somehow the company was fraudulent in calling it a small release. That goes to show you. Just like this last release does. It's all about the hype and the hype lives in the mind.
Ha, ha. Although I genuinely appreciate the thought. I am focused more on building up the things I really enjoy. I tried to log in during the rush and got the waiting room, but I was logging in to get some Sutliff Chocolate Supreme. I realized what was happening and was frustrated that due to the hype, I couldn't get either the C&D Mocha or the Sutliff Chocolate Supreme to make some more EZ1 with the 8oz of Frosty Mint I've got cellared. Priorities, right...Sorry you missed out. Message me and I’ll send you a tin![]()
Have you tried Sutliff 307 mocha strips? I’ve got a pound or two - they are quite nice. They taste like chocolate and raspberry to meHa, ha. Although I genuinely appreciate the thought. Had Sutliff not gone down the road of disappearing, they were on my list to try as an alternative to C&D Mocha. Although, C&D Mocha is quite nice itself.Have you tried Sutliff 307 mocha strips? I’ve got a pound or two - they are quite nice. They taste like chocolate and raspberry to me

He’s the only true Frosty Mint lover I know of besides you. I’d rather just smoke a Camel menthol myself. As it is, it looks like I will be having to check out C&Ds chocolate tobaccos as a substitute for Chocolate Supreme. Ah, well. @BarrelProof would be proud to know his recipe is still in good hands.
Remember his rule - one part out of 8 parts. But someone out there loves it more than all of us - 60 lbs worth apparently. I just found out @Manawydan got himself 8 oz worth of it. Seriously, when not smoked straight, it is a fantastic additive to make a great dessert blend. I've sent some of my EZ1 to other smokers and all of them have loved it - especially their wives who are happy to smoke with them. He’s the only true Frosty Mint lover I know of besides you.
