Fire Up North

This is going on about 8-10 miles north of our vacation property.

Everyone on your end OK? Looks like a hell of a blaze from the smoke. Once in a while a field fire out in the farmland goes haywire and we see something that looks like that out in the countryside. Hope everyones OK!

They are doing alot of evacuations, about 3500 acres burning right now and the high winds today aren't helping. So far no injuries that I have heard.

Sounds like the fire is contained, no injuries some lost homes and cabins. Last I heard was 8700 acres burned up

05 - Glad you came out of this ok. Where is this fire? I'm going to MT for ffishing and concerned about drought and consequent fires.

Glad it's contained - but that is a lot of acreage lost.
