Colcot, I didn"t know you were looking at that Upshall, after I bought it I went on the forum and you were saying dang it went, made me feel bad,(for a little while) but think of it this way, I"ll test it out and let you know and then maybe you"ll buy one you will be happy with, I know you will enjoy your Dunhills, I have 3 and smoke nothing but English blends, trying to keep them pure LOL. From the photos there is an oblong circle to the right of the number 3103 but I can't make out what's inside of it. It looks like it's the word "dunhill" with the tall d, h and both L's. The other side says "Amber Root" over Made in England04. That's all I could make out. If there's a patient code I couldn't see it. According to the description on eBay it's a 2004 model.

That is a 2004. 2000 + 04= 2004.

A 3 digit number with 04 would have been 1964.

They can be confusing!

The 60's are supposed to be the best, but my 2002 Cumberland sure smoked well.
