Don't touch the merchandise women after the drinks. They tend to ruin the good time with "hurry up", "you smell", "you are drunk".. They are very good at stating the obvious. Prefer to drink alone in peace.

Swedish women must be straight talking sort. My experience is getting straight answer out of typical American women isn't easy. Take skill and patience. Typical situation would be asking them what they want to eat. Rarely you get quick simple answer. Even if they give an answer, usually that changes. And it's always what's on your plate is better than theirs, but never order what you are eating. Something about ordering two same dish is a waste even when they like your dish better.

I think it's natural that men and women communicate differently, regardless of country or culture.

Two sexes, wired much differently. Nowadays medicine can replumb but, they can't rewire. Men are wired to procreate. Women? To nurture. I'm generalizing but, that's the basic difference I see. One also needs to consider the other, often subtle differences between individual females and males. It's all of these differences that make "the battle of the sexes" so exciting, entertaining and, most importantly, fulfilling in a good, giving relationship/marriage.
