Finally Ordered This Savinelli Autograph On My Wish List!

This had been sitting on my with list at Smoking Pipes for a little while now and I finally pulled the trigger.

The price was right and the shape/texture/color just does it for me! If it's wrong to say a pipe is sexy then I don't want to be right! The blast is rather fantastic.

(With all the recent Dunhill discussions it made sense to get this instead. This is a great example of what you can get for less money.)









I also picked up some tins of Savinelli's new 145 Anniversary blend (thank you @jiminks for the review) so I already know what I'm going to break it in with.

I'm super excited for both the pipe and the blend to arrive.

Nice! I think an up-market Savinelli would be a great way to celebrate something, or maybe just the pipe. It's luxury without extravagance, and will give a lifetime of enjoyment. My kind of splurge.

That's a beautiful pipe.

Isn't it great that you can buy a pipe after admiring it for a long time. The complete opposite of an impulse buy. You have to be lucky that others are not looking at the same pipe, but it feels good to finally buy that pipe you have been drooling over for a long time.

I have had this happen with two of my favourite pipes. They were at the upper end of my price range, so it was good to have time to slowly build up enough justification to buy them.
