lol I'm very pleased with them. And the Nording is truly massive. And to think I've been considering one of those Nording Giant Freehands. This thing is going to hold a lot of tobacco and give a good long smoke, I suspect. That's not one I'm going to smoke when I close at work one night and have to open the next lol. But yes, I truly am very pleased with the both of them. And tomorrow I'll have my Bjarne and Savi, plus a pound of baccy, and a new pipe zippo. :D

Congrats on your new acquisitions! The Peterson is very nice indeed! I'm a big fan of the XL90 shape. I picked up this XL90 spigot from Smokingpipes about a year ago. Beautiful pipe and a great smoker too!

@lumberjackpipester. Like I said above on the Nording and Peterson both, the photos don't do them justice in the least. In fact, when I pulled the Nording out of the bag, my eyes about popped out of my head. The photo made the pipe look lighter and smaller as well, and you couldn't see much grain. Man that Nording is huge lol and amazingly beautiful. Lots of close straight grain on that one. The Peterson is beautiful in another way all on it's own. I love them both. For the moment I've dubbed the Petey my Jaguar, and the Nording my Mack Truck (but in a good way)lol. I'm guessing the Nording will hold twice as much tobacco as the peterson, and the walls are quite thick as well. I wanted to smoke one or both of them earlier, but i was too busy holding them and looking at them  I ran out of time!
@Rockvillepete... man that pipe is way pretty. I love the color :)
Tomorrow should be an equally great day. I have a pound of baccy, a new pipe zippo and two more pipes that should arrive while I'm at work. I'm not likely going to go into a long drawn out post about receiving them like I did a few posts above though. I should be home by around 6pm and I'll have plenty of time to play with all my new toys lol.

Just got part two of my haul :) This order came from Pipesandcigars.
Received: (And I assure you I have just as many giggles as last time, and I am once again doing my chair dance.)
Zippo Black Ice pipe lighter. If any of you remember the midnight chrome lighters, it's a bit lighter than than but a bit darker than normal chrome. Quite nice :) I do wish they'd bring back midnight chrome though.
8oz tin Brigadier Black Gettysburg. Really nice looking can. I love the artwork and will definitely keep the can.
8oz tin Brigadier Black Alamo. I bought this one just because, hey, I'm from Texas. Also a really nice looking can. Will keep that one too. :)
Savinelli natural oom paul dublin. Compared to the Peterson it's quite small. Compared to the Nording, it's a hobbit next to a troll. But I like it.
Bjarne Viking. Compared to the Peterson it's also small, and compared to Nording... well... same as above. But it's very very pretty and it feels really nice in the hand.
One pack of matches. Free of charge.
I am one happy camper right now. And I have four new pipes.
Which one do I smoke first? 8O

Ok. Just thought I'd check just in case. I figure if I take too long to grab it before it's gone I'd at least like to know it was someone from the forums that got it. I am still planning on it myself though. I couldn't today as I worked from 8am to about 6pm. Maybe before I head to work tomorrow. I go in a bit later.
