After years of wanting one, I finally pulled the trigger on this one. It’s by Rusen Rusenov, and is an excellent example of the shape. I’ve also never really seen a sandblasted Eskimo, as they’re usually a canvas for showing of Birdseye grain. I don’t mind a smooth pipe at all, but my tastes lean towards texture. Rusen is a very talented, and underrated carver, with very reasonable prices. Anyway, I’m thrilled to finally have one of my “bucket list” shapes, and can’t wait to fire it up!C0974295-348A-4018-9B7B-62340E27042F.jpeg30A88F1B-B6B9-4875-BAD5-0F9C8FCDD516.jpeg54636B50-D168-42E3-A921-A8CE549CF465.jpeg637DFC45-6CB4-4CB2-8AE9-879AD5E85C51.jpeg3CC471E5-D4F9-4296-9E26-29E12D13FF31.jpeg

Thanks guys! I’m going to christen it tomorrow. Probably with a nice aged McClelland. I’m thinking either, Blackwoods Flake, Deep Hollow or 221b Honeydew Flake. This is going to be a Va / VaPer pipe, so I figured I’d give it something special for it’s first smoke.
