Aww, man! That thing I was trying to offer to make for you in those PM's that wouldn't go through between us months ago would be perfect in there.
Haha, yeah I don't know what the hell happened there. I received your PM, but the site would never let me reply to it. I even contacted mods to try and sort it out but they had no answers either.

Not only that, but that PM also never shows up as read, so I have this permanent annoying little red 1 on my mail inbox forever now apparently, hahaha.

Anyway, I'll get some kind of fancy stand together for the AK set at some point. Right now I'm just happy to be done building the built-ins and shelves, hahaha. If I don't measure another board or length of trim for a month it will be too soon!

....okay maybe two weeks :ROFLMAO:

Beautiful house and great smokers lounge/study. I’m legit jealous. I grew up in the sprawling suburbs of Jersey and my wife’s a born and raised city kid. We often watch Life Below Zero and ask “think could you do that for a few years?” Imaging myself sitting at the fire with a glass of bourbon enjoying that view makes it pretty tempting

As many of you know we have spent the last year building a new house. After finally moving in a few weeks ago, I was immediately hard at work building a room full of built in drawers, shelves, and a desk etc for my personal retreat, a pipe room/library downstairs. I finally finished this project this week and thought I would show it off. The shelves and desk are self explanatory, but behind the cabinet doors in the built-ins you will also find several custom drawers I designed to hold currently jarred tobaccos for smoking (to the right of the desk, a drawer for each blend type of course) and currently cellared tobacco tins and jars (to the desks left), with a top drawer (felt lined) for storing higher end pipes.

It was a long haul only being able to work on these for an hour or so at a time, but I'm happy with how the built-ins all turned out. Cheers!

Haha, that type of lifestyle is difficult to live for a few weeks. It comes with great benefits, but it also comes with great difficulty and very few days off.

It’s easy to romanticize, but most of us here end up building cabins in the bush to go enjoy that lifestyle for short controlled stints rather than permanently, haha.

They also do just a wee bit of over-dramatizing on the show, but as far as reality tv goes its pretty legit.

It's a weird hole in my PM history, too. I could write, but not send a reply to you.

In brief: I have a CNC router. It's a relatively easy thing to program and cut topo map contours and stack 'em. The Aleutian Islands chain has 7 "big" islands. You have a set of 7 Alaskan themed pipes and a space on your wall (under the fish) the size and color of the Bering Strait...
