Filtered vs. Non-Filtered pipes.

I prefer filter pipes without the filter. I really get along well with a loose draw, in fact I wish I could open up most of my pipes to 5/32 or bigger.

I only use filters in my Brigham pipes (which are my favorites). Personally I find the maple filter to work well without restricting draw too much. My other pipes are cobs or economy briars and I find they all smoke better without a filter. As mentioned before it boils down to preference. I clean often enough that I never have too much build up and notice little difference filtered or non filtered.
