Hey All,
Just to make sure I've got it right: the end with the bump goes into the stem so it doesn't slide around in the pipe, correct?

Thanks,

I thought you were asking for direction on whether or not to use an adapter. My advise would be no. I have a couple of adapters and never use them. I much prefer smoking without one. But I have no idea which way that one goes in.

It's weird, I got these and some Vauen adapters through 4noggins. They have a rubber-band like bump either near the end or the middle of the adapter. You have to force the rubber-band end into the stem, otherwise it isn't thick enough to hold still in the stem. Go figure.

Looks like a 9mm filter adapter and yes the end with the little o ring goes in the stem. You might need to use a little nose oil to get it to slide in. I like Savinelli filters for both 9mm and 6mm use, but I use the adapter if I'm not using a filter. 6mm filters don't need it as much.

Great, thanks Orley. I smoked it once facing the other direction--guy was really bouncing around in there.
