Edit: I guess it just says "bright leaf" in the description for Levant, and Jiminks mentions bright VA in his review. So not Carolina. Anyway the stuff is pretty good. :

Ok, I think I have a full order for him. He told me to keep it around 250 but it ended up around 300. At least shipping is free. 
Now what else can I do with his credit card info? LOL. Thanks everyone. I think he has a good cross section of blends to start his cellar with and to learn from. I added in some Virginia's and otherwise pretty much went by your recommendations. I gave him some medium English which I really think others are missing out on. And I have given him some Exotique as well as a few ounces of my mix called Longleaf. He is set but for pipes. I have talked him down from immediately buying Dunhills. He has a Peterson Aran something and I have him a cob from the Walgreens but he definitely wants to jump into a deeper pool. Trying to get him to join the forum. He is something of a luddite so who knows.
