Last night my Catahoula Buddy started growling at 2:00 o’clock, got up and checked vechiles, catalytic thieves are on the rise, but NO it was a possum in my fig tree eating my figs, now this being a Political Correct world. Relocated him, I’m enclosing a picture of my relocating tool , he’s going to possum heaven, DONT judge me I love my figs.88521F8B-2B50-409B-B566-2EDE265978C7.jpeg

Yes, living in town means no relocating varmints. I had some squirrels chewing at my attic. The law won't allow you to even trap them and set them loose in the woods! The licensed wildlife outfit that traps and relocates them makes a tidy income. However, I'm just as glad my neighbors don't shoot at anything and send the lead through my walls and windows. Most people have no firearms training, judgement, or aim, and would bag more unsuspecting neighbors than 'possums or squirrels. Most firearms buyers did not grow up under the stern tutelage of a dad, grandpa, or uncle to make them responsible. Firearms training these days is given by "Grand Theft Auto," complete with bleeding victims. My dad let me shoot targets with a pump airgun in the basement, but I understood I was responsible to him and didn't crap around. If the furnace got hit, I'd have paid.

Nice Ruger. I’m guessing you live where can use it on your property. That would get me in trouble (not that I have fig trees). I had a neighbor who took his revenge out on the squirrels that made a nest in his Nissan and snacked on some wiring. He had a good pump air rifle. The great squirrel culling of 2013 on Sugar Bear Trail, lives on in infamy.
