Ok, I have another question. This is more about what color to use.

Does it matter what color I use on any pipe? Now I put pipes in 3 categories.
1) no name pipes
2) Common mid range brands.
3)High
A) " " ". Rusticated, sand blasted.
B). Spot rustication.
C) pipes with grain. Better the grain, better value.

Now if I'm keeping it, color probably doesn't matter. Most likely the same for no name pipes. Does high end pipes need to remain the original color? Like cars. The more original, the higher the value? Am I over thinking it and the color choices are what ever I decide to make it?
