Ferndown All Cleaned Up

Al Jones (aka ssjones) was kind enough to put his skills to cleaning up a Ferndown pipe I bought last 2 weeks ago. The pipe looks great, smokes like a dream and feels good in my hand. I don't know what shape to call it so if anyone knows please chime in.

I'm leaning toward apple as well.

I think it's an author variation. Too squat for an apple and not tapered enough for a prince. But I think I may be a shape contrarian.

I agree with the apple denomination.

I own a Castello 23 wich looks very similar and they call it an apple.

Got almost the same one John, different silver work and stem, but same shape, hangs good and is a very good smoker.
