Don't feel bad. I have to explain TLAs and other "txtish" phenomena to my wife all the time. I've been messing around with the internet since you had to build your own PC to get it to work worth crap. She didn't get on until XP was already old news. She almost left me because she thought the porn/spam comments in my myspace were real women! True story. That and she found a phone number to someone named "Kit" in my wallet. She never bothered to ask, but Kit was the guy who set up my guitars, he just had a kind of androgynous name. Plenty of future LOLs but not funny at the time.
