Wonderful carving, and imaginative. Ease of handling and weight for size of bowl might give me pause. fish's pipe is amazing, as always; will look forward to seeing that one in action. My whole attention in window shopping for pipes is to visualize grabbing it off the rack and packing it, and settling back. Anything that gets in the way of those puts me off an actual purchase, but I always enjoy seeing original creations including outlandish ones. My wife recently made some wonderful lump crab meat cakes, which may be the last local seafood for a while after the hurricane damage ... the crab pipe reminded me. I'm not sure, but I think that may be a shark rather than a whale? The seahorse pipe caught my eye; my late wife thought I had a resemblance to a seahorse, and I can see what she meant.
