It seems to barely rise to the level of a military or other victory, unless it's by outflanking the enemy in a totally useless bit of territory that's out of the way and insignificant when and if won. So far, no shots fired even.
I have spent years of my working life reading technical, scientific, and administrative documents, in many cases translating them into standard English for fellow layman. I have no idea what this means or is portending. I guess it's good when bureaucracies write in code. Hacking is of no concern. As things unfold, I hope someone who has other sources will explain, as best possible, what this garble means.
The timing of this announcement is possibly significant.
Donald Trump has made no secret of his contempt for---and intention to downsize and/or abolish---many of the ever-expanding federal agencies. It's conceivable that his recent surprise election has caused many of those agencies' priorities to change.
Put another way, pipes and cigars would probably seem like awfully small fish when a 30 foot Great White suddenly starts ramming your office door.
looks to me they removed a section that basically said they have the right to just throw your application in the trash if it isn't put together correctly. I don't see that being a win of any sort to the pipe/cigar community.
Well, that's it then. If we got them to withdraw this much by threatening to riot, think how far we can go if we look like we're really angry. I have my tricorner hat, anyone else?
Sounding like good common sense is prevailing ! IMO, TOBACCO IS TOBACCO. Regardless of what type,what blending proportions, or what year a said crop was harvested. Does anyone think a blend that came out in the 1900s and is still on the market is still made with 1900s tobacco ? I rest my case ! ;-)
