Looking to order a 4 blend sampler including the 2 Lizzie Blood blends. Any recommendations? Open to most things but not so much heavy aros.

The Lizzie blends are very good. Crystal Palace is good,and so is #515.
Thanks Jaycee. Crystal Palace is on the list. Not sure about 515 because it might be milder than I would normally like. I usually only am able to have 1 bowl so it has to satisfy. I’m thinking maybe #111 might be the 4th.
I tried the Lizzie blood and did not enjoy. Too wet with something I didn’t care for... I’m personally done with these small blenders they just can’t compare to the big boys.
#111 is an excellent choice. You may consider the #222 as well.
Thanks Jim! #222 is on the list! I find it a bit hard to navigate their blends. Many sound similar and on TR some of the reviews are the same!

Good. I’ve been off the Latakia train for a good while, but (at least when Carol was blending) it was a terrifically great blend.
If you're looking at Wilke English blends next time, I'll add these suggestions to Best Make and No. 400: Sailor Jack, Jackson, High Hat, No. 426, and No. 622.
For an American English, I recommend Gentry Royal Blend #2.
Thanks Jim! What about on the non-Latakia side? Not heavy aros but blends with some oomph are appreciate.
The only ones with "oomph" are a few aros and English blends. John is working on something that will be different, but I don't know when he'll have it out, and I'm not at liberty to tell what it is.
Lizzie Blood Red Va, Surbrugs Crystal Palace, Vermont Maple are some of my favorites, along with others. I can't say there's a blend I haven't liked from them...
I have enjoyed Wilke blends for many years, so some of them, especially 8th Street, have nostalgia value for me. Judging them on their own merits, I think that Crystal Palace is exceptional.

And I guess by “oomph” I mean medium or better. When I see “mild” I almost always pass bc I don’t seem to find mild blends satisfying.
