The majority of my favorite albums have been mentioned by others so I won't repeat those here. But here are two that sit near the top of my list that haven't been mentioned yet:

- Vangelis: Heaven and Hell
- Billy Thorpe: Children of the Sun (The original, not the reworked/remastered/ruined version)

I forgot to mention NIN Year Zero. Take a look at that album's marketing campaign (Wikipedia?) if you want to go down a real rabbit hole. Guerrilla marketing that started during the previous years tour - hidden messages on tour shirts, flash drives with strange fragmentary mp3s left in venues, obscure websites with surreal content. The entire backstory is cool as well

One of my favorites too, but I always assume no one has heard of this, so I don't mention it much.

Robert Johnson, I picked this up way back in high school, but... you know, for his time he was probably way ahead of the rest, but now, it's just really hard to listen to for me. Twangy, badly recorded, and... just not enjoyable. I put it in the same group as I do Zappa. Probably a genius, but if you play that around me, I will frisbee that summa bich against the wall. I'd rather chew aluminum foil. Ha ha.

I'm not sure this counts , it's an album recorded at Stonehenge Free Festival 1978 . Here and Now on one side, ATV on t'other . I love the Here and Now side but can barely stand the ATV side.
It's a great album of a time of Albions past .
Punky pyschedelia from Here and Now
