I think the Ramones only have one under the 1:45 mark (and I'm not a fan of Judy is a Punk Rocker)

well you can but over the years I've learned where the mods draw the line.

Well, you know, if and when things get that serious around here, I’ll just quit the forum. I was on another forum were the mods threatened the entire forum that if anyone made a joke that offended another member, they would “Disappear you Stalin style” (actual quote). Considering that quite a bit of my fathers side of the family did get disappeared by Stalin, I considered the statement both offensive and tone deaf, and I quit the forum. If I inadvertently offend another forum member here (and I have) I quickly apologize and move on. The mods here seem to appreciate this approach. Now, as for the song, my daughters loved it when they were toddlers and sang it all the time and by shear compliance, I learned to love it as well. It brings back wonderful memories for me (but I also knew that it would drive some here crazy ). Win-win, wouldn’t you say?

I can get along with anyone except an ideologue. Ideologue’s wholeheartedly subscribe to “The ends justify the means” no matter which “end” of the spectrum they’re on. No thanks, life’s too short and (methinks) we’re all wrong anyways.

I honestly thought the song pick was sarcastic. But I can appreciate the whole my kids, family, or anyone important and special loved the song and now I do too.
Gotta love the hypocrisy of zero tolerance to offensive statements (not to mention the fact it's kind of a moving target) being expressed in such a clearly potentially offensive way (right up there with the angry dad telling his kids there will be no f#$&ing G#$d#$M swearing by anyone is the m.f. house). Kind of also reminds me of the people that have told me being mostly German means I am racist. People are an odd bunch too stupid and also too clever for our own good sometimes.
