It's really just Cringle Flake for me.

Can anyone recommend any of the holiday aromatics that a Virginia smoker should give a shot? I've been pretty ignorant especially when it comes to the smaller B&M fair.

For context: I've enjoyed aromatics like Cult BRM, Rattrays Exotic Orange/Passion and Devil's Holiday quite a bit.

While it's not really a seasonal blend, per se, Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader Special Edition with perique. Comes out in limited quantities every few years.

Watch City’s the Churchwarden is by no means a seasonal blend, it’s available year round yet a dip in the thermometer will bring it lumbering back into my rotation. I’m also quietly waiting to see if C&D From Beyond makes a return this Fall.

According to he description, the C&D Jolly Old St. Nicholas has an orange liqueur topping with some ginger.

Not at all. The OP is referring to blends that are released during holidays or seasons not the notion that certain genres are only smoked during certain seasons. No mention of only smoking those blends exclusively during their time of release. Eight State Burley (Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic) and Carolina Red Flake aren't seasonal themed.
Yes, exactly. I’m making a list of the tobaccos I have to buy in the next few months. I’d hate to miss out on anything I didn’t know about and have to wait another year!

I would suggest jolly old st Nicholas. I would also suggest We Three Kings which is still available from last year.

Both are Virginia/cavendish based. Jolly has perique, kings has Katerini. Jolly has the orange/ginger topping and Kings has an allspice/cinnamon/vanilla topping.

In my post further up I completely forgot about both Kringle Flake and The Haunting! I quite like both, and need to stock up on a few tins of The Haunting if they sell it this year. I have some tins of aromatic Christmas blends I need to unload this season.

Why guilty if you enjoy it?

I don't literally feel guilty for enjoying it. A clumsy turn of phrase. I do feel slightly silly, however. I tend to enjoy tobaccos with, well, very tobacco-centric flavor. And here I am, smoking something that tastes like a holiday cookie when I can just holler at my mom and get a whole plate of cookies for free.

With unflavored blends being the niche market of pipe smoking, enjoy the cookies. You're keeping the pipe tobacco market going for another day for all!
