I love a good bulldog myself, as well as the occasional Rhodesian.Great thread. Personally I am a fan of both British and American brands. In no particular order I am fond of Comoy's, GBD, Sasieni, Loewe, BBB, Ryan Alden, Mark Tinsky, Kaywoodie, Arley Curtz, and Trypis (yeah, I threw in a random Canadian maker). I also love a good Pete and Dunhill now and then but am really picky about both.
While I like most shapes my 3 favorites are about as opposite as it can get. They are Rhodesians/bulldogs, Canadians, and Prince shapes. One of these days I'll get some pics of my favorites but for now that's what I've got.
If you like the 03 and XLO2, have you tried any of the Savinelli 642? They are quite similar....My favorite overall brand has always been Peterson, and my favorite shape from them has always been the “03” and it’s big brother the “XL02”. (Hence “petes03”).

I also like straight billiards of all sizes and makes.

So what floats your boat where brand and shape are concerned?
I’ve come close to buying one several times. I’ve owned several Savinelli pipes and really like them. I only have one as of now, a 614. I love it. If I buy another Sav, it’ll probably be another 614.W

I always wanted a Ferndown “Bark” Straight billiard myself. Maybe I’ll run across a deal on an estate one of these days....Two of my top favorites are a bent billiard Ferndown given to me by a Forums member, and a Ser Jacopo I bought with a windfall check on a project, a blast Dublin with a serpentine shank/stem (forms a subtle "S"). I've bought two each of two brands and shapes: Peterson B11 brandy sitters, one an ebony dress pipe I happen to be smoking, and the other a Shannon; and two Stanwell bulldog 32 shapes, one a Silke Brune finish and the other smooth, both straight with saddle stems. Pipes so nice I bought them twice.
I really want to get my hands on some of the older Canadian made ones but they just tend to be either beat to hell or expensive. I wish I could tell if they were worth it or smoked anywhere nearly as good as my Trypis or Blatter pipes with a lower price of admission. I'd pay what most people ask for them if they were as good or better than those. I guess I also got spoiled when a ton of unsmoked Trypis pipes came on the market for less than most basket pipes and I grabbed a few.Brigham, it seems; not that I actively pursued them, they just seemed to find me.

I wanted to become a Vauen fan or a Savinellidiot, but I've only manged to buy one of the former and the latter has eluded me completely.
I've many MM cobs, but they're not my favourites.
