Favorite Oriental Forward Blend?

I recently picked up an ounce of an Oriental blend that my local tobacconist (over 100 years in business) blends up in house and I can’t stop smoking it. It’s basically described as Orientals and Maryland leaf. Do you have a favorite Oriental blend that I should try? Specifically without Latakia.

I recommend 3. C&D Sunday Picnic and Bijou. Dan Tobacco Ascanian No 1.

Watch City Simply VOriental and Glass Slipper, Warped Red Hunt, Low Country Waccamaw, Sutliff TS24 thrown into everything.

GL Pease Temple bar/regents flake, Cairo, Embarcadero.

I'd recommend K&K blends in the past, but who knows what's in em these days.

I also really like the addition of Orientals in C&D Eight State Burley.

2nd the Bjou , I like Orions Arrow no Lat but supposedly equal amounts of some others …that’s just me I have a tin of Oriental Silk , to crack hear it’s good. Sure some more experienced Oriental pipers will pipe in …

You have got to be the first person to ever complain about someone getting off topic. I do not find 965 at all laced with latakia. It is very Oriental forward to me. I merely was making a suggestion.

GLP Cairo is great as others have mentioned. C&D Oriental Silk is also quite good. Star of the East Gold is incredible, though it does contain a modest amount of Latakia, same with the Country Squire's Bag End.
