Its a sweet pipe. Smokes good ( its a cob so you know it will) and is great for busy work. I have straight Washington I've been meaning to convert. Some day.

My old Tom Howard fits the bill. I generally prefer longer, bent stem pipes but this one is kind of fun every now and then.

I find the MM nosewarmers comfortable. I have the Pony Express, Tom Sawyer, Eaton and the Morgan. I also have a Yellobole bole Pug and 3 pipes from the Cezch Republic. All of these pipes are good driving pipes. Of course I bum around town with them too.

Don't know if my pipes qualify as definitive nose warmers, but I have a Chris Askwith strawberry wood billiard that is a mere 5" long.

My Devil Anse by Eric Paulson serves that purpose for me. With its slight forward bowl cant like a cutty I don't feel like I'm living dangerously with it beard close. With the bowl size it's good for a 50 - 60 min hands-free smoke.
