Favorite MacBaren Tobaccos?

HH Old Dark Fired, HH Acadian Perique, HH Pure Virginia.

Old Dark Fired is in my opinion the best blend under the Mac Baren name. It ages really well and smokes pretty damn good fresh.
I like their Modern Virginia Flake which is a light aromatic with some nice flavors.
Some may not know but Mac Baren makes the Capstan Blue and Gold lines and they are top quality. My favorite is the Blue Flake and I have over 150 tins I love it that much,

Of the ones I've tried St Bruno Flake, Capstan Blue, HH Old Dark Fired, HH Pure Virginia and Dark Twist Roll Cake are my favourites.

HH Old Dark Fired/Bold Kentucky.Both very flavor forward, just don't smoke on an empty stomach if you're not accustomed to them.Peterson Irish flake is right on the money, too.

keep in mind with a few like Club Blend or Scottish Mixture.. that if you don't have a good smoking cadence you will most likely get bit.

I thought about that rephrasing after all the replies... I think that out of stock English tobaccos unfairly effect my approach to those readily available.

So my absolute favorites of all MacBaren are their “Roll Cake”. Here is a breakdown of what they are because they are all very similar yet distinct products.

Stockton (discontinued) = VA with dark fired center.

Dark Twist = about 1/3-1/2 VA with dark fired centered coins, 2/3-1/2 pure VA coins

Club Blend = VA coins with unflavored cavendish center

I rather like St. Bruno Ready Rub.

The only other Mac Baren I've had is HH Vintage Syrian which I reckon is not bad (and better on day 2 using the DGT), but that's currently useless information.

Bold Kentucky, Old Dark Fired, and Burley Flake in the HH line.

Navy Flake and Golden Extra are pretty good too.

I've only tried Bold Kentucky so far.
The next tobacco order will include Old Dark Fired and HH Pure Virginia.
