What is your favorite cob? I'm talking about the style of cob. Not your favorite one in your rotation, or ones that you have customized. Mine would be the Pony. I like the look of it, and they're great for short smokes. The Freehand would be a close second. I like the look of it, but I prefer small to medium sized bowls.

I couldn't make up my mind, so have all of them...if I had to pick a favorite, I'd call the Great Dane my #1 pick (with church warden stem)

Good to see you around, Top!
Apparently, it was a bad year for the cobs. From the MM website: "Due to a temporary shortage of cobs with large diameters, the bowl of the Apple shape is smaller than normal, but still has the familiar, comfortable feel in your hand."
Or two years ago. Don't they age them two years?

Without trying to sound like a smart @$$, I have so many types varying from around the early 1900's to current, I can honestly say the one in my mouth at any given time, none have ever been bad smokers.

My first non-estate pipe was a Legend, but I didn't much care for it (mostly because of the plastic mouth piece). A few weeks ago I learned about Walker forever stems, and decided to give cobs another chance. Purchased a Country Gent and an acrylic "regal saddle" in the black rose coloration. We'll see after I get it if I still have a no cobs mentality.
