I have a Pete Dracula bulldog. Great smoker but the silver work isn't stellar. Based on when I purchased it, it was likely NOS from before/during the Laudisi acquisition.I currently have only one bulldog, an old Jobey.
I have been eyeing the Peterson Dacula and the Irish Harp sandblasted (and a 408 as well).
That little Refbjerg on the bottom of the pic with the three dogs in it is just fantastic! If you ever want to sell it, please let me know. For a Danish take on the bulldog View attachment 360910

Several Ashton’s similar to that have dropped in the last year.
They recently had an Old Church with a killer yellow swirl vulcanite stem!
The Civic, and GBD are stellarBulldogs (the dogs, that is) have large heads, a stout body and short legs
To me, the quintessential bulldogs are Peterson’s SH Squire and Hudson

VATCHSMAD rings a bell, I've seen it before but not sure where. Could it be related to a tobacconist that sold the pipe? The 1st cased Bulldog has 1911 Birmingham hallmarks
Stamped "VACHTSMAD" on the shank.
I have not been able to find any references on Pipedia nor Pipephil
Unfortunately it will remain a mystery, unless a wise head on the Forums has the answer
