As a Kentuckian and a liquor store manager, I feel kinda strongly about this. Knob, Makers, and Woodford are my three favorite regular production. I like Woodford's balance, Knob Creek's long finish (which goes REALLY well with a good smoke), and Makers is an icon for a reason; you really cannot talk bourbon without Maker's entering the conversation. It's not the entire conversation, but it is a conversation starter. Also, if anyone likes a secondary aging in alternate wood, PLEASE go out of your way to find you some Angels' Envy; reminds me of the Woodford Masrer Distiller Sonoma Cutrer release a couple of years back.
As a recovering alcoholic, i really miss a wee dram of bourbon now and again, but am very glad to see people enjoying. Tip one up for me, people? o)
