Concerning movie smoking, I was recently watching "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" with my daughters, and I was impressed by the smoking of the professor. He not only knew how to light a pipe, he appeared to pack it correctly as well. The actor is Jim Broadbent. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a real-life pipe smoker.
