Ok thanks, will look into them. I was at the beach last weekend, actually Fort Tilden which is technically Long Island, and it was so windy my bowl burned through in a few minutes. Entirely unenjoyable experience. No clue how those seafaring men were able to enjoy their tobacco. God bless them.

As some have alluded to, you can get a Meer bowl for it. For me it was a cheaper way to see if I wanted to invest in a full size Meer. No complaints. Ordered mine from Turkey.

I have almost identical on its way from Britannia, at least I don't have to worry if the stem /mortise junction was properly executed or does the stem have standard push in tenon which roughly 80 % of meerschaum pipes lack
