.. you know what I think I will give it a try !

Try it, you´ll like it!

Certainly try one. If you like open draw and a pipe that doesn't mute flavors at all (great for Virginias and sweet Orientals), you'll have fun with a Falcon.

This is a bad image capture of one my three (happen to have this pic in my album). This one loves Orlik's Golden Sliced. :puffy:

Is the middle tube glued in or just tight fitted? I have one in a drawer and never have done anything with it because the metal tube comes out of the bowl area when I twist the stem. The stem and tube are so tight that the tube and bowl connection I guess is the weaker of the two.
The bit is affixed with the manufacturer's intention of permanence. Probably glued. It is not meant to be twisted or removed. Cleaning the pipe is done by running a pipecleaner the length of the stem, and removing the bowl and swabbing out the reservoir (and changing the dry ring if you use one). If one persists in trying to disassemble it further than that, one might well expect to end up with it in pieces in a way it was not designed to be.

Oh, my answer might have been interpreted falsly: Of course the stem and tube of a Falcon are not meant to be removed but are meant to be permanantly fixed to the complete stem assembly. They can be removed with the aid of some boiling water but this is only for tinkering/modifying and on your own risk!
Thank you shutterbugg!

I have one that resides in the cup holder of my pickup. Smokes well and I am not worried about the stem getting scratched up!
