You know what sucks… high quality posts that get locked. ?

I’d like to propose a solution. Make a new “Humor” category and just move those posts there. Can’t we compromise?
We need an upgrade to the forum format to include certain fonts or emojis specifically for:
Sarcasm
Irony
Parody
Tongue-in-cheek
Just-to-rile-you-up
etc…

Just my thought...marketing. Pipes are a competitive market and at one point this was the next big thing. Like stingers or double barrel stems. I will say this one has stuck around. It's a matter of what you like be it a Falcon, cobs, meers or briar just like some folks like Craftsman, Snap On or Huskey. It's a tool.

I have never smoked a falcon and have no intentions of trying one. I will never smoke a pipe with a stinger. I like a nice wide open draw on all of my pipes. I find they burn cooler and dryer and give me more flavors. My minimum shank dimensions are 4.0-4.5 mm. Anything less creates turbulence which leads to a wet smoker.

Stop blaming marketing. "Oz never gave the Tin Man anything that he didn't already have".

my falcon smokes better then any of my briar pipes. everything i put in it turns to ash and it never gurgles.
got a meer bowl and a briar bowl.

easily one of my best purchases ever. @ the people chiming in who've never smoked one but hate anyway, just lol.

Are they essentially the same as the Kirsten pipes?

I’ve never been a fan of either, just from an aesthetic point of view, but perhaps I will be grown up enough to try one when I get to be 60. Hell, I’m already beginning to appreciate the utility of socks with Birkenstocks (under the right set of circumstances).

Oh my, man. Socks with Birky's are old school. It used to mean you had a doctorate degree and didn't need approval from anyone.

Socks with Chaco's are "sockos".

Hope you arrive to the present soon......LOL!!
