Just a heads up that this weekend is the China GP and it's a Sprint Race weekend. That means the qualifying for Saturday's Sprint Race is on Friday - a few hrs from now.

Sad to report that Eddie Jordan has died aged 76. A brilliant man and a true one off.

His Jordan F1 team of the 90's and 2000's punched above their weight and achieved 3 F1 race wins. Not a bad result considering the big boys used to have mountains of cash to spend because there were no financial caps, back in the day. He was also Adrian Newey's manager and engineered his move from Red Bull to Aston Martin.

He eventually sold his team and became a commentator for tv. Easily my favourite as he was forthright and said what he thought plus he always had inside information about the goings on in the paddock.

He also gave Schumacher (among others) his debut in F1

He'll be missed.
RIP 🙏🏎️🏁
I'm on the road this week and hadn't read this news. I don't wear it often, but for sure, every St. Patricks Day I break out my 1996 Jordan F1 hat. Schumacher missed most of that season, but it was always a wild ride with Eddie. RIP.

Red Bull have dropped new driver Liam Lawson after only 2 races. He's been demoted to sister team RB while Yuki Tsunoda has taken his seat at Red Bull.
Red Bull are savage.

Eddie was great and one of our favorites, he will be missed. We enjoyed his podcast with DC.
Lawson, meh, whatever. Can Yuki tame the RB21? Rumor (rumour) has it that Honda shelled out 20 million for the switch to be made before the Japanese GP.

Well I don’t know. A race where no one seemed to make a big mistake. No safety cars. No rain. No DNFs. No unexpected events to cause any turmoil or disruption. A physically demanding circuit with 3 rookies in the top ten points. It wasn’t boring but it wasn’t exciting. Did any of you feel that way too?

Exactly. Only drama was in the pit lane with Norris and Verstappen. Verstappen clearly had the lane, I don't know what Norris was whining about. He missed the opportunity at the start.

Nice job by Antonelli to get the fastest lap.

I just watch the highlights on YouTube. They are only about 8 minutes long the whole thing. Even then I failed to see more than a few seconds on anything exciting.

Glad to see Max win after his incredible pole lap but that race was a boring shower of shit😴. Shame it didn't rain.

Oh well, not every race can be an action packed winner.

Shame Lando fucked it into the wall during qualifying. The race is set up nicely, though. Max showing once again why he's the greatest driver on the planet. Every generation has that one driver who is just better than all the rest. Ayrton, Michael, Lewis and now Max.

Looking forward to the race.

Max is at the top of his game, unless he makes a mistake, it will be a procession again. Should be fun to see Lando move thru the field.

Yes. Leclerc on the podium. Two Williams in the points. I think I heard Brundle say that was helped by the Tsunoda/Gasly prang. Hadjar in the points. Antonelli 6th in the race and in the Championship standings.
