Sorry this is just a vent!

Went to a house party and some son of a b***h stole my pipe case. Gone are 2 of my Stanwell 52 pipes (those are the pipes I collect), IM Corona Old Boy lighter, 2 hand made leather pipe bags and a hand made leather pipe case. I am at the point of tears! I can (with time) replace the loss of the physical items, but not the mental and emotional anguish of the fact that another person would do that to me. Mother f****r, burn in hell! F**k

No need to apologize, don't blame you a bit for letting go, at least you vented to folks that can understand your loss
Just remember Karma travels in a circle, it will come around

I thought house parties were where friends have a get-together, not filch from one another.
Hope you manage to find your gear and the culprit who swiped them.
Regards,
Jay.

Vegas Baby!!!
Jay, house parties are a place where friends can go and have a great time because of connections, BUT if you bring a friend-of-a-friend there is no connection. No connection = no remorse = pilfery.
OP, that is a tragic loss and you are rightly pissed off.

Think we all understand the need to vent on occasions like this.

Have you had a wander round the local area to look for your stuff?

It might have been tossed into a bush once the thief realised it wasn't something "more valuable".

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I'd call everyone who attended and let them know what happened. You may still find out who took your items. Good luck.

Very sad to learn of your misfortune. Above advice all good, but in addition, don't let the anger linger, for your own sanity.

I feel for you. There are too frequent reports of pipe thefts from members. It's very discouraging. We just have to keep our belongings chained to us, I guess.

Yes very sad. But on the other side of the coin, I don't think I would take pipes and other stuff to someones house.

I hope the host puts out to the other guests what happened and someone coughs up your stuff. I'm 45, haven't been to a house party of the kind I remember in quite a few years. Good luck on recovering your stuff!

I love puzzles... okay... F**k There Thieves... ummm....hmmm....

Is it the title of a song by Ministry?

Nate, thank you for pointing out my spelling/word mistakes. To my defence, at the time I typed that rant, I was already "speaking" half Irish, thanks to a bottle of Jameson Whiskey... :puffy:. When you combine anger, frustration, whiskey, crappy tab keyboard and do it all at 1:30 am, things happen. I will try to do better next time :).
