I always laugh when I see an incredibly high priced pipe with a shipping charge. Dude I just dropped over $4,000 dollars on a friggin pipe why don't you pony up the shipping! NO PIPE IS WORTH THAT KIND OF MONEY!!!

I saw the same G grade pipe about a year ago for around $1,500. For a Dunhill collector that is an awesome pipe, but that same seller keeps putting up that pipe for I think quite some time now. You would think he would drop price a bit or find a new market place to put it up on lol.

Yup, they are pricey. Here's one at cupojoes. Hand painted with 18k gold band.

$7,000 . Down from $8,500. What a bargain.

Wouldn't it be satisfying enough to even get 10% of that money for selling that......

I could sell everything I own.... and maybe then I will be able to buy it.
Bit absurd indeed.

This actually brings up a question I’d be glad to get some feedback on. I’m relatively new to pipe smoking (about 4 yrs). I’ve got a few pipes that I like and a couple of others that aren’t so great. They all were priced under $100.
My question is, generally speaking, to what degree does price equal smoking quality? How much of a difference (if any) could I expect to experience between a decent smoking Savinelli or Big Ben that I currently own and a Dunhill?

I had originally thought the Seller accidentally typed an extra zero in the price, but I guess this isn't the case.
